I started OMG OS X in January, but didn’t really do anything with it till the beginning of this month. In that short time, we went from one or two accidental viewers a day stumbling in to around 500 visitors a week, and I know that’s not a ridiculous amount of traffic, but I’d say that’s pretty damn good for how young of a site we are, and the numbers are growing every day. Not that any of that really matters; I’m content with just being able to help out fellow Mac users with reviews, tips, tutorials, rumors, and news.
Anyway, we decided to start up a forum in attempt to build a community of people as obsessed with Apple products as we are, as well as a knowledge base of Mac OS X tips/tweaks/tutorials/etc. to further provide our readers with as much content and information as possible. We just launched the forum earlier today, so we only have a few topics thus far;
- OMG OS X Suggestions
- General Discussion
- Mac OS X
- iOS
- Android
- Gaming
We’ll get around to starting some discussions later on in the evening, but you can’t very well have a community without users now can you? If you’re a frequent reader on OMG OS X or simply just want to be a part of the development of our online community, we would love to have you on the forum. If you prove to be knowledgeable on tech as well as trustworthy, you may even get to claim moderator status.
Also, don’t hesitate to sign up on the forums if you have any suggestions for us; that’s why we have the OMG OS X Suggestions forum.
Thank you for supporting us. You can find the forum here, or by navigating to omgosx.your-talk.com in your browser. We look forward to chatting with you.
