Apple is holding an event March 7, 2012, that is believed to be the unveiling of the iPad 3, and so far this thing sounds like a monster. It needs to be, though. Apple doesn’t like changing their design too much, so it needs to grab your attention somehow. Below are some of the recognized rumored specifications so far.
- Quad -or high clocked dual- core processor
- Siri integration
- 8 megapixel camera
- 4G/LTE
- Retina Display (2048 x 1536)
- iOS 5

There has also been talk of an 8 inch model coming along as well, to compete in the lower price/smaller market with the Kindle Fire and other comparable tablets. Next to a Kindle Fire, an iPad looks simply huge. Now that Steve Jobs has passed away, we have to wonder if Apple will stick by Jobs’ side, or introduce a smaller iPad and possibly gain a new market?
