Google Maps now provides users with indoor walking directions
I’ve always been horrible with directions – especially in huge, foreign buildings like hospitals, a new school or on campus. I’d imagine that I’m not the only person with such poor navigational skills, and now others who have similar problems can get a little help – from Google Maps.
Participating businesses now provide customers a way to navigate the halls with ease, through Maps for Android. I’d imagine that there aren’t a huge amount of stores and locations you can find on the app just yet, but over the course of the next few years you should be able to go in pretty much any large store or attraction and find what you’re looking for.
Also introduced in this update was something called ‘Offers’. You can click on the Offers tab within Maps to pick up on a variety of local deals and offers from businesses within walking distance.
